I’ve written a Hunter tutorial that I’m sure you guys will enjoy. Sit tight and I’ll be getting some video on it as well but some of the pouncing images are up! Hopefully it will be useful to you! This should be a great help to new players and those looking for some shortcuts. The entire guide is in-game legal!
This is the first in a series of special articles on all the playable characters in Left 4 Dead.

Every time you use a hunter you have three different options. First, you can utilize it as an incapacitation, which is where your entire team attacks at once in an attempt to incapacitate all four Survivors at once. Second, you can go for damage. Going for damage includes high damage pounces and (because of the latest patch) environmental fire damage (which comes only from a Molotov or gas can). The third option is to combine these techniques, often pouncing off a roof in unison to achieve both high damage pounces and incapacitation.

Whatever your team’s decided strategy is, it has to be executed correctly in order to be effective. Hopefully we can show you a few tricks that will give you a higher chance of success.
